Now Hiring Part-Time School Bus Drivers - New Fairfield, CT
As a Part-Time School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of students. You'll start students' days with morning pickups before school and safely transport them home in the afternoon. Additional hours for field trips and special event transportation may also be available.
No experience is necessary! First Student provides paid training, support, and guidance to help you become a safe and professional school bus driver.

Pay Details
- Hourly Rate: $27.11 per hour after training completion
- Training Rate: $16.94 per hour
- Commercial Learner's Permit (CLP) and Commercial Driver's License (CDL) training provided

Your Day as a School Bus Driver
- Safely transport students to and from school and school activities
- Assist students with boarding, unloading, seatbelts, and mobility aids
- Maintain a safe and orderly environment on the bus
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
- Report maintenance concerns promptly
- Keep the bus clean and sanitary
- Follow all traffic laws and company safety standards
- Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and dispatch
- Provide excellent customer service and leadership

Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years old
