Administrative Assistant - Split Shift
Pay: $18.50/hour
We are hiring an Administrative Assistant to support daily operations at our location. This role handles a variety of administrative, clerical, payroll, recordkeeping, and customer support responsibilities while working closely with management, employees, customers, vendors, and internal departments.
Schedule: This is a Monday-Friday split-shift position with afternoons off between shifts. Candidates must have the flexibility to work both early morning and evening hours.
What You'll Do
- Perform clerical and administrative duties to help ensure contractual and legal requirements are met.
- Maintain contract files, records, reports, correspondence, and schedules.
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate person or department.
- Schedule appointments and meetings for management and assist with meeting preparation.
- Prepare and send emails, correspondence, and other communications as needed.
- Maintain and process accounting, payroll, and personnel information.
- Enter and retrieve data from fleet management information systems.
- Prepare operational data and reports for management and the client.
- Assist with coordinating employee benefits at the contract level.
- Communicate with employees, customers, vendors, management, and other departments.
- Perform additional administrative duties as needed to support location operations.
What We're Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Less than two years of administrative experience required.
- Previous office, administrative, or data-entry experience is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to reliably work a Monday-Friday split-shift schedule.
Physical Requirements
Must be able to move throughout the office and between floors, use standard office equipment, access filing systems and cabinets, and communicate effectively in person and by telephone.
Pay & Schedule
$18.50 per hour
Monday-Friday split shift with afternoons off between shifts.
