Major Responsibilities
Job Description
  • HRIS Workday Functional partner supporting specified Human Resource areas ( Payroll, Absence, Time off, and Time tracking) both in USA and Canada.

  • Provide consultation & impact analysis to COEs, building knowledge, gathering requirements, designing & configuring solutions.

  • Responsible for the data configurations in the Workday system relevant to the role (i.e.: Modules, Tables, Hierarchies, Security, Releases, Profiles).

  • Research and architect solutions and advise/counsel the functional business leaders and program owners.

  • Oversee tasks assigned to supporting analyst(s).

  • Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the usage of Workday.

  • Configure, test validate and implement Business Process Changes in Workday.

  • Evaluate releases and functionality to identify opportunities to improve and optimize the use of Workday.

  • Collaborate with COE's on system changes to roll out a new process.

  • Lead weekly/biweekly communications with partner COE.

  • Coordinate with other Functional Leads on projects that have cross-team implications.

  • Responsible for resolution of Tier 2 (functional & Integration configurations) Help desk issues and to act as a resource for Tier 3 (SME data) as requested. Be solutions oriented when users identify functionality issues with the system and escalate these issues to the appropriate individuals to address in a responsive and timely manner, if necessary.

  • Promote change management efforts including adoption of new systems and functionality, programs, and process changes.



Minimum Education or Certifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent experience



Minimum Experience or Skills Required

  • 3 or more years' experience on an HRIS team or the equivalent on COE team with knowledge of Workday configurations or a comparable major HR system.

  • Experience in Workday Functional areas of Payroll, Absence, Time off, and Time tracking is preferred

  • Ability to work within a team structure, collaborating closely with colleagues to achieve assigned tasks.

  • Ability to prioritize work, handle multiple projects simultaneously with a high level of accuracy, and attention to detail and organization.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills.

  • Ability to think in terms of conditional logic and cause-and-effect impact.

  • Develop an understanding and expertise of HR Operations and employee data management.

  • Able to learn new skills, adapt quickly and embrace change



Physical Requirements and Working Conditions

  • Incumbent must be able to move about the office and between floors; utilize standard office equipment; access filing system/cabinets; and communicate effectively and efficiently in person or by telephone.

  • Hybrid model of Remote/on-site as directed by the Director-HRIS

  • Travel up to 10%
