As a Part Time School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of students. You will start students\' days with morning pickup before school and transport them safely back home in the afternoon. School Bus Driver benefits:

Hourly Rate: $21.05 per hour
Training Hourly Rate: $15.00 per hour; Behind the wheel training
Guaranteed Minimum Hours: earn 2.75 hours per shift worked. If you work both AM and PM for a full week then you will earn 27.5 hours!

Your day as a School Bus Driver will include:

As a First Student Part-Time School Bus Driver, you will play a vital role in your community and the lives of the students you transport. You will be there at the start of the students\' day with before-school pickup and at the end with an afternoon shift to bring students safely back home. No experience as a bus driver is required! About the School Bus Driver Position:

Join our team of professional drivers dedicated to getting students to and from school safely.
Utilize industry-leading technology to assist with daily routes.

School Bus Driver Qualifications:

Strong verbal communication skills.
Must be at least 21 years old.
Valid driver\'s license for a minimum of three years.
Must pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) drug test and physical examination.

About the School Bus Driver Position:

Join our team of professional drivers dedicated to getting students to and from school safely.

School Bus Driver Qualifications:

Pay: 19.00 per hour

Hours/Schedule: Monday-Friday, Full-time day shift

About the Diesel Technician Position

As a Diesel Technician with First Student, you will help maintain and repair school buses to ensure safety and reliability.

Diesel Technician key responsibilities include:

Ensure vehicles are maintained and safe for our passengers.
Diagnose and perform all phases of vehicle maintenance including the repair of brakes and brake inspections, engine tune-ups, suspensions, drive trains, transmission clutches and other repairs.
Perform preventive maintenance (PMs), safety inspections, and annual maintenance inspections.
Complete work orders accurately.
Assist with mobile emergency repair services when needed.

Diesel Technician Qualifications

At least 1-3 years of diesel or automotive maintenance and repair experience, or equivalent technical school education and experience.
Vehicle diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
Valid driver\'s license required.
CDL Class B or ability to obtain within 60 days of employment - Company paid training provided.
Possession of a mechanic\'s tool set to complete all assigned duties.
Willingness to participate in the ASE certification program (training, testing, and bonuses provided).
Strong computer skills.
Note: This position is subject to DOT drug testing as a safety-sensitive employee. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including marijuana, for any reason.
