Job Description SummaryLeads and manages proposal-related business development activities, processes and materials for new and existing contracts. Includes proposal development, production and distribution, as well as presentations and post submittal follow-up. Maintain proposal calendar and pipeline database to account for and track proposal development and execution.
Register with procurement websites and monitor such for new projects.
Maintain and update proposal boilerplate, current corporate information, location profiles, resumes, bios, customer references and templates.
Drive prospective and continuous improvement in the proposal development process and materials by identifying opportunities, building organizational support for new ideas and collaborating with sales, marketing and communications to plan and execute.

Minimum Education or Certifications Required

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, English, Journalism, Communications or related field required.

Minimum Experience or Skills Required

1-3 years of experience working with RFP's and/or technical writing for the public sector
Excellent writing skills, with a strong orientation to detail and service.
Advanced knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software.
Proposal writing, management experience strongly preferred
Ability to exercise independent thinking with a high level of prioritization skills
Strong customer relation skills
Ability to generate creative ideas, meet multiple deadlines and work independently.
Knowledge of business and management principles.

Job Description Summary
The Area Safety Manager (ASM) supports the safety performance of designated Burlington area locations, covering all operational, facility, and maintenance activities. Onboarding Compliance Specialist - Bilingual

Job Summary

Under moderate supervision, the Onboarding Compliance Specialist ensures that First Student drivers, monitors, technicians, and staff remain compliant with all applicable federal, provincial, and contractual regulations. This role supports onboarding processes, maintains accurate compliance records, and provides training and guidance to location staff to ensure smooth integration and adherence to standards.

Key Responsibilities

Compliance Management
Maintain and update compliance data for assigned locations. Review all documents for accuracy before entry into the compliance system and resolve discrepancies in collaboration with location staff.

Training & Support
Train location staff on compliance programs, processes, and document requirements. Provide troubleshooting assistance for compliance platform challenges and escalate issues to the Driver Compliance Supervisor when necessary.

Collaboration & Confidentiality
Promote a safe and positive work environment while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. Communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders.

On-Site Support
Assist with on-site compliance activities as assigned and provide hands-on support during audits or peak periods.

Other Duties
Perform additional responsibilities as required to support compliance and onboarding objectives.

Minimum Requirements

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and French.
Minimum 3 years of experience; transportation experience preferred.
Strong understanding of compliance programs and federal/provincial requirements for commercial drivers.
Ability to lead, train, and coach staff on compliance processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
Valid driver's license.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

Collaboration & Confidentiality
Promote a safe and positive work environment while maintaining a high level of confidentiality. Communicate effectively and professionally with all stakeholders.

On-Site Support
Assist with on-site compliance activities as assigned and provide hands-on support during audits or peak periods.

Other Duties
Perform additional responsibilities as required to support compliance and onboarding objectives.

Minimum Requirements

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English and French.
Minimum 3 years of experience; transportation experience preferred.
Strong understanding of compliance programs and federal/provincial requirements for commercial drivers.
Ability to lead, train, and coach staff on compliance processes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to travel up to 50%.
Valid driver's license.
