Location: First Student - Regina, Saskatchewan
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Schedule: Monday to Friday, Day Shift

First Student is hiring immediately for a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our Regina maintenance team. We welcome applications from qualified Heavy Duty Mechanics across Saskatchewan. What You'll Do

• Perform maintenance and repairs on school buses and commercial vehicles

• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems

• Maintain and repair brakes, suspensions, drivetrains, and transmissions

• Complete work orders and documentation accurately

• Respond to mobile service calls when required

Qualifications

• Journeyperson Heavy Duty Equipment Technician (Red Seal) or equivalent experience

• Experience with diesel engines, commercial transport vehicles, or transit buses

• Own a basic mechanic's tool set

• Commitment to safety and teamwork
