Full job description:

To lead and manage complex projects, ensuring effective project planning, execution, and control. Responsible for delivering projects on time, within budget, and meeting stakeholder expectations, while managing project teams and mitigating risks.

Major Responsibilities

  • General - Developing and executing project plans. Leading project teams and coordinating activities. Managing project budgets, resources, and timelines.
  • Vendor Management - Leads the negotiation, creation, and management of comprehensive SOWs, working closely with vendors to establish clear project deliverables, timelines, and performance metrics.
  • Resources - Takes a leadership role in resource management, strategically allocating and optimizing resources across the project, overseeing resource utilization, and resolving resource conflicts.
  • Budget - Takes a leadership role in budget management, overseeing the financial aspects of the project, including budget allocation, forecasting, and cost control, to optimize resource utilization.
  • Quality - Leads and oversees comprehensive quality management efforts, from defining quality standards and metrics to continuous monitoring and improvement across the project.
  • Change Management - Plays a key role in change management by assessing the impact of changes on project objectives, coordinating change requests, and facilitating communication and training to ensure successful adoption.
  • Business Case - Plays a pivotal role in shaping and refining project business cases, ensuring that they align with organizational objectives, provide a compelling value proposition, and guide project decision-making.
  • Stakeholder Management - Strategically manages a broad range of stakeholders, developing and maintaining strong relationships to secure project support, resources, and alignment with organizational goals. Ensuring project quality and delivering on project objectives.
  • Reporting - Oversees comprehensive KPI tracking and project reporting, providing in-depth insights into project performance and proactively addressing deviations from planned objectives.
  • Governance - Facilitates monthly portfolio meetings with executive sponsors and initiative owners
  • Risk - Employs advanced risk management techniques to evaluate, prioritize, and address risks at both the project and program levels, ensuring a comprehensive risk mitigation strategy.
  • Project Closure - Leads the project closure activities, including performance assessments, documentation of lessons learned, PSAT survey and the seamless transition of project resources.
  • Mentoring & Coaching - Actively coaches and mentors less experienced project managers, fostering their leadership abilities and facilitating their transition into more complex project management roles.
  • Process Improvements - Takes a leadership role in identifying and implementing best practices and process improvements not only within the project but also across the project management team to optimize project outcomes.



Minimum Education or Certifications Required

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.



Minimum Experience or Skills Required

  • 3-5 years of experience in project management or related roles, including experience in managing complex projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Excels in interpersonal and cross-functional communication, adeptly navigating complex project landscapes while ensuring alignment between stakeholders, teams, and project goals.
